The Sampler Guild

Samplers come in all shapes and forms, including goldwork.  Linda Hadden who runs this Guild is dedicated to preserving this ancient form of needlework in whatever guise it is created in.

The Textile Directory

The Textile Directory are publishers of an annual guide to creative textiles, containing hundreds of contacts in the worlds of textile art, craft, fashion and interiors.  They produce a monthly newsletter with various features, and also have an online diary dates page on their website.

Hobby Holidays

Located on the Lincolnshire, Nottingham and South Yorkshire borders at Beckingham, near Doncaster.  They offer a wide variety of craft days and are hoping to shortly branch out into Goldwork as well.

They offer regular morning, afternoon and evening workshops; weekend workshops and special workshops where they run something new.
